My name is Erica, and I moved with my boxer to the colorful Colorado from our home-state of Texas in the Summer of 2012. I got Zoey as a puppy in 2008, and she's been my loyal sidekick ever since.

I graduated from Texas Tech University with my BFA in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing in 2012. Yes, Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing is an actual degree. Look! I make things like these to prove it:
After graduating I decided Texas wasn't the place for me. My parents had moved away, the size of D/FW was getting to be too overwhelming, and anywhere else I had family was too humid to stand. As much as I love visiting my family in New Orleans, I don't think I could stand the weather full time. After a brief head scratching period, going through pros and cons, Denver, CO became my destination of choice.
After making a couple of trips, loading only what would fit into small cars, I finally moved up to Denver. Since then I've been enjoying every second of Colorado and all of it's greatness, learning so much about the community, and relaxing as I settle in near the Rockies.
